Jana Nexus is committed to ensuring transparency and integrity in the publication process. All participants authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the evaluation, interpretation, or presentation of research.


1. Definition of Conflict of Interest

A conflict of interest exists when personal, financial, institutional, or professional relationships may affect objectivity or create bias in the publication process.

 2. Author Responsibilities

Authors must:

  • Disclose any financial support, funding sources, or sponsorships
  • Declare any affiliations or relationships that could influence the research outcomes
  • Include a clear Conflict of Interest statement in the manuscript
  • If no conflict exists, state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

 3. Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are required to:

  • Decline review assignments if a conflict of interest is present
  • Avoid evaluating manuscripts where personal or professional relationships may affect impartiality
  • Inform the editorial team immediately if a potential conflict arises

 4. Editor Responsibilities

Editors must:

  • Ensure that manuscripts are handled fairly and without bias
  • Refrain from handling submissions where a conflict of interest exists
  • Assign alternative editors when necessary

 5. Management of Conflicts

  • All disclosed conflicts are carefully evaluated by the editorial team
  • Appropriate steps are taken to ensure that the review and decision-making process remains objective and unbiased
