Abstract
This comprehensive analytical study investigates the critical divergence between perceived corporate reputation and technical Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. As global financial markets migrate from Shareholder Capitalism to a more complex Stakeholder Capitalism model, the necessity for a standardized, rigorous data architecture has become paramount. This paper utilizes the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) ESG methodology-a framework encompassing over 16,000 global entities-to dissect the sustainability profiles of five industry leaders: Grupo Bimbo, Nestle, Alphabet, BBVA, and Mercado Libre.
