Agricultural activities generate substantial quantities of crop residues, livestock waste, food processing by-products, and other organic materials. Improper disposal of agricultural waste contributes to environmental pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and public health concerns. The waste-to-resource concept promotes the conversion of agricultural residues into valuable products such as bioenergy, biofertilizers, compost, biochar, and animal feed.
